Broome North Primary School does not offer on-site before or after school care. Classrooms open at 7:45 am for an 8:00 am start. Students should not arrive before 7:45 am unless they have written approval from the Principal for morning supervision in the School Library starting at 7:15 am. School ends at 2:10 pm, and gates close at 2:30 pm. Students and their younger siblings are not permitted to play on playground equipment before or after school.
For students arriving before 7:45 am:
- Only the bus students are listed as attending the library for duty of care reasons.
- A parent or guardian must supervise all children on the school property.
- Students at school before 7:45 am without a parent or guardian will be directed to the library.
- If a student is frequently arriving early without a carer or guardian, the school will initiate contact with the parents or guardians to ensure their awareness of the situation.
Parents needing temporary early drop-off between 7:30 am and 7:45 am must apply to the school for approval.
